Barbadian superstar Rihanna has confirmed she is pregnant with her third child for American rapper A$AP Rocky.
The singer revealed her baby bump on Monday while arriving at the Carlyle Hotel ahead of the Met Gala in New York.
Rocky, one of the night’s co-chairs, later appeared on the red carpet alongside Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, LeBron James, and Pharrell Williams.
Rihanna first sparked pregnancy rumours during her 2023 Super Bowl halftime show when she cradled her belly on stage. Her team later confirmed she was expecting.
The couple welcomed their second son, Riot, in August 2023, while their first child, RZA, was born in May 2022.
In April, Rihanna told Interview magazine she was open to more children, saying,
“As many as God wants me to have… I would try for my girl. But of course, if it’s another boy, it’s another boy.”
Rihanna is set to voice Smurfette in the upcoming animated film “Smurfs”, coming to cinemas on July 18.
Meanwhile, Rocky is preparing to release his fourth album, “Don’t Be Dumb”, and will star in Spike Lee’s “Highest 2 Lowest”, out August 22.
Rihanna also stood by Rocky during his recent felony trial in Los Angeles, where he was cleared of two assault charges linked to a 2021 shooting outside the W Hotel.

After the verdict, Rocky was seen jumping over the stand to hug Rihanna, his mother, and sister.
A$AP Rocky, American rapper and partner of pop star Rihanna, says the mum of his sons usually raids his wardrobe.
The father of two said he also returns the favour by “stealing” some of the singer’s clothes, adding that he is unafraid to wear traditionally feminine clothing.
A$AP Rocky spoke about breaking gender norms in fashion in a recent episode of Vogue‘s The Run-Through podcast co-hosted by Chioma and Leah Faye Cooper.
“I want to represent, I want to be a catalyst for daring men. on’t know who drew the line between femininity or just being feminine and masculinity, excuse me. I don’t know who drew that line but I don’t see any barriers for me,” he said.
