Enioluwa Adeoluwa Speaks on Priscilla Ojo’s Pregnancy

Popular content creator and influencer Enioluwa Adeoluwa says he would be the third person to hear when his bestie, Priscilla Ojo, is pregnant.
He stated that Priscilla Ojo Mkambala would inform after her mom, actress Iyabo Ojo, and her husband, singer Juma Jux and then himself.
The influencer made the revelation while addressing newsmen in Tanzania recently.
Enioluwa is in the country for the final leg of Priscilla and Jumax’s wedding. Upon his arrival, he was asked to confirm Priscilla’s rumoured pregnancy.

The interviewer: “You will be an uncle very soon. Priscilla is pregnant.”
Enioluwa replied:
“The questions you guys ask me shock me so much. Priscy is pregnant? Where? Today is the first day I’m hearing it, too. Upstairs, people were saying Priscy is pregnant.”
The interviewer asked: “You don’t know?”
Enioluwa Adeoluwa replied:
“I don’t know that she is pregnant. If Priscy is pregnant, I’m sure I am the first person after her mother and her husband to know. She will tell me. I will be the third person to know. She hasn’t told me anything of such a sort. But I think if it’s a private issue, then yeah. Everybody wants them to have children. I’m sure when it is the right time, they will have children.”

Recall that the couple first tied the knot in an Islamic wedding ceremony, also known as Nikkah, held in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, on February 7, 2025. Which was quickly followed by a civil wedding in the same month
In April of 2025, the Jp2025 wedding train hit Lagos, Nigeria, with two ceremonies: The traditional wedding where the bride price was paid and then the church wedding.
Furthermore the final leg of the JP2025 wedding, which is being held this weekend, is the grand reception where Tanzania will play host to many Nigerian celebrities.

Murja Kunya Receives Six Months Jail Term For Naira Abuse

A Federal High Court sitting in Kano has sentenced popular Kano TikToker, Murja Kunya, to six months imprisonment for Naira abuse.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Kano Directorate, on Wednesday secured the conviction and sentencing of the social media influencer before Justice Simone Amobeda of the Kano Federal High Court.
Kunya was arrested for allegedly spraying Naira notes during her stay in a hotel room at Tahir Guest Palace in Kano.
She was initially arrested in January 2025 for violating the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Act, which prohibits the abuse and mutilation of the Naira.

The TikToker was granted administrative bail by the Commission pending her arraignment before the Federal High Court in Kano.
However, when it was time for her court appearance, she absconded in her bid to evade the legal process.
After weeks of intensive investigation and surveillance, EFCC operatives successfully re-arrested Murja Kunya on Sunday, March 16, 2025.
She was subsequently arraigned on May 20, 2025, where she pleaded guilty to the amended one-count charge.
In February, two TikTokers in Kano State were sentenced to one year in prison or a fine of N100,000 each for posting videos deemed vulgar and offensive to religious and moral values.

A magistrates’ court in Kano, located at No. 47 in Norman’s Land, Fagge Local Government Area, ruled in the hearing.
TikTokers, Ahmad Isa and Maryam Musa, both residents of Ladainai in Hotoro Quarters, were arrested by the Kano State Censorship Board and subsequently arraigned before the court.
The prosecution, led by state counsel Barr. Garzali Maigari Bichi, charged them with criminal conspiracy and the distribution of illicit content on social media. Both defendants pleaded guilty.
Presiding over the case, Justice Hadiza Muhammad Hassan handed down the sentence and urged the convicts to uphold good conduct.

Ngugi Wa Thiong’o, Africa’s Foremost Author is Dead

Ngugi Wa Thiong’o, one of Africa’s foremost authors, is dead.
His death was disclosed by his daughter, who is also a writer, Wanjiku Wa Ngugi. She made the revelation on Wednesday in a Facebook post.
She said,
“It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our dad, Ngũgĩ wa Thiong’o this Wednesday morning, 28th May 2025. He lived a full life, fought a good fight. As was his last wish, let’s celebrate his life and his work. Rîa ratha na rîa thŭa. Tŭrî aira!
“The family’s spokesperson, Nducu Wa Ngugi, will announce details of his celebration of life soon.”

Ngũgĩ is widely regarded as one of Africa’s greatest writers. His works span novels, plays, essays, and memoirs, often addressing the legacy of colonialism, the struggle for cultural identity, and the effects of oppression.
His notable works include “Weep Not, Child” (1964), his first novel and one of the first English-language novels published by a Kenyan author.
Others include The River Between (1965), which explores themes of tradition vs. change; A Grain of Wheat (1967), which focuses on the Kenyan struggle for independence; Petals of Blood (1977), a critique of post-colonial corruption and neo-colonialism; and Devil on the Cross (1980).

Famous Nollywood actress Peggy Ovire has dropped a cryptic message that could mean a divorce from her husband, actor Frederick Leonard.
Peggy Ovire recently shared a video of herself dressing for a wedding ceremony on Saturday, notably without her wedding band.
Captioning the video, she wrote, “Wedding guest. Transition 101.”
Netizens were quick to notice the new development and flooded her comments section with “Where is your ring?”.
The development further sparked speculation of a crisis between the couple.

Chris Brown Released On Bail, Will Continue UK Tour

American R&B singer Chris Brown has gained freedom. He was released on bail on condition that he pays a £5 million guarantee to a UK court.
Under the terms of his bail, the 36-year-old Grammy-winning Brown can continue his scheduled international tour, which is due to start on June 8 in Amsterdam.
The judge added that if the singer fails to return to the UK, where he has a series of concerts from June 15, the £5 million will be forfeited.
Brown, who was not in court for the bail hearing, is also due to play dates in Europe, including France, as well as the United States, in 2025.

He was charged last week with “grievous bodily harm with intent” about an assault in which the victim was allegedly struck several times with a bottle before being pursued and punched and kicked.
The alleged assault was said to have taken place at a nightclub in Hanover Square in London on February 19, 2023, while Brown was touring in the UK.
Police afterwards detained him in the early hours of May 13 at a five-star hotel in the northwestern city of Manchester after he reportedly flew in by private jet.

Judge Tony Baumgartner at Southwark Crown Court in London, while ordering that he could be freed on bail, also stipulated that he should surrender his passport if he is not travelling.
Baumgartner said the singer must live at a specific address known to the court and is not permitted to visit the nightclub where the alleged assault took place or contact the alleged victim, Abraham Diah.

Brown and his co-defendant, US national Omololu Akinlolu, have also been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, and will appear again at the same court on June 20.

Popular Nigerian actress Ekene Umenwa has revealed that people advised her to renounce her faith to make it big in Nollywood.
She made this disclosure in an Instagram post on Wednesday, May 21st.
According to Umenwa stated that she refused to compromise her faith and return to Jesus, whom he referred to as her father, for comfort.
Sharing a video of her vibing to the popular gospel song, ‘No Turning Back’, she said

Davido’s baby mama, Sophia Momodu, has opened up on her desire to have another child.
In a video making the rounds on social media, Mama Imade shared that she wants another child but via surrogacy.

On Friday, Chimezie thanked Davido for sampling his 1984 hit ‘Because of English’ in ‘With You’. With You” is Davido’s collaborative work with Omah Lay.

In a recent interview on the Rash 4 Christ podcast, Sydney shared details about his difficult upbringing.
The 29-year-old content creator recounted how his father’s drug addiction, his parents’ turbulent relationship, and family rejection shaped his early years.

Sydney Talker said his childhood was marked by constant displacement, adding that he was passed between relatives due to his parents’ struggles.

“I was a child that the family never wanted. I stayed with the rich, the poor, the average, the village, the golden house; think about it, I did everything, and finally stayed with my aunt. And God started intervening in my life,” he said.

“My mum was taking me back to my father, my father was taking me back to my mum. Finally, my mum came to accept that she just had to accept me. My dad was the youngest in my family, and he was into drugs. So, everybody did not care about him.

“He was not focused that time. To be honest with you, my mum had me the first time, and because of how she saw my dad going up and down, she took me out, I mean, abort. Then somebody told her that I was going to come back.
“That is how they found my mum and my dad again came back, had a child again, and that was me. This time around, she saw my dad going back to drugs, then she was like she was going to take me out again, but my grandma said, ‘Don’t worry, bring him, I will train him. ’

“That is how I stayed with my grandma, started staying with family back and front. It was just going until my mum said, Bring my child. I stayed with my mum, to a point, I stayed with my Aunty. Dunsin noted that many people were in awe of how he overcame the difficult period.

According to the singer, he found closure in the presence of God, understood from God’s perspective, accepted his sovereignty, and found joy in his presence.

That’s the path of Life… 6 years after, with tears of joy, all I still have to say is GOD IS GOOD!”
